is a type of disorder of uncontrollable plucking of one's hair. People with trichotillomania pull hair out at the root from places like the scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes, or pubic area.
This type of activity leads significant or sometimes complete hair loss.
Most people who have trichotillomania develop the condition during adolescence.
