Keratitis Information
Keratitis is an inflammation of the cornea, the transparent membrane that covers the colored part of the eye (iris) and pupil of the eye caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV) typically presents as a unilateral "red eye" with a variable degree of pain or ocular irritation. symptoms include -
- Tearing
- Pain
- Sensitivity to light
- Inflammation of the eyelid
- Decrease in vision
- Redness.
